Planning Intelligence Suite

Watch the Planning Intelligence Suite demo.

This short demo introduces the four core engines inside the Planning Intelligence Suite. Each engine applies national standards, planning rules, and development logic to help you understand what is possible on any site.

The demo video is the visual introduction. The written explainers below show the logic, the standards, and the outputs behind each engine.

The four engines

  1. 1. Layout Engine

Shows how a site can be arranged using compliant spacing, access, circulation, and parcel structure. It demonstrates how the Suite interprets the physical shape of the land and produces intelligent layout options.

  2. 2. Estate Planning Engine

Applies planning rules and estate‑level standards to determine what types of development are viable. It evaluates constraints, opportunities, and the strategic potential of the site.

  3. 3. Density Engine

Calculates realistic density ranges using national and local guidance. It shows how many units a site can support, based on standards, typologies, and spatial logic.

  4. 4. Feasibility Engine

Scores the site using planning criteria, density outcomes, layout viability, and development potential. It provides a clear feasibility rating that helps you understand whether a project is worth pursuing.

Examples — how the engines work in practice

Example 1 — Small Infill Plot

  • Layout Engine identifies a compliant access route.
  • Estate Planning Engine confirms residential use is viable.
  • Density Engine calculates 2–3 units based on standards.
  • Feasibility Engine scores the site as “Moderate Potential”.

Example 2 — Corner Site in a Residential Area

  • Layout Engine generates multiple parcel configurations.
  • Estate Planning Engine checks frontage, character, and typology fit.
  • Density Engine outputs 6–8 units depending on form.
  • Feasibility Engine scores the site as “High Potential”.

Example 3 — Large Irregular Plot

  • Layout Engine interprets the shape and produces structured blocks.
  • Estate Planning Engine tests mixed‑use or residential options.
  • Density Engine models low, medium, and high density scenarios.
  • Feasibility Engine highlights constraints and ranks the best option.

Example 4 — Backland Development

  • Layout Engine checks access width and turning requirements.
  • Estate Planning Engine tests whether backland is acceptable.
  • Density Engine outputs 1–2 compliant units.
  • Feasibility Engine scores the site as “Conditional Potential”.
